Description
Pistachio Crusted Brie Bites combine creamy brie, flaky puff pastry, and crunchy pistachios for an elegant, bite-sized appetizer that’s effortlessly impressive and crowd-pleasing.
Ingredients
1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
8 oz brie cheese, cut into 1-inch cubes
1 cup roasted pistachios, finely chopped
1/4 cup honey
1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Optional garnish: pomegranate seeds or cranberries
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Mix chopped pistachios, honey, rosemary, salt, and pepper in a small bowl until coated.
3. Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into 3-inch squares.
4. Place one cube of brie in the center of each square and top with the pistachio-honey mixture.
5. Fold the corners of pastry to the center and seal tightly.
6. Brush tops with egg wash and bake for 15–20 minutes, until golden and puffed.
7. Cool slightly before serving and garnish with pomegranate or cranberries.
Notes
Keep puff pastry cold before baking to ensure the best rise.
Use double-cream brie for a creamier melt.
You can substitute pistachios with chopped pecans or almonds.
Freeze unbaked bites for up to one month; bake from frozen as needed.
Serve warm with honey drizzle or fig jam for extra sweetness.
